AB Ljusdalshem together with Ljusdals Renhållning cooperates in sorting household rubbish and food waste at each property. We start with our largest residential areas, Gärdeåsen and Ämbarbo. Next come our properties in Färila.
Your garbage can contain both hazardous and valuable substances. By sorting your rubbish well, it can be disposed of safely and most of it can be recycled.
It is important, both for everyone's well-being and the environment, that you follow your area's instructions and dispose of the waste in the right place.
• Household waste
This includes diapers, pads, tampons, vacuum cleaner bags, dish brushes, porcelain, plastic toys, cigarette butts and other items that do not fit into the other fractions.
• Food waste
All food waste is sorted here, but coffee grounds, eggshells, cut flowers, napkins and paper towels etc. can also be thrown away here.
Brown cardboard bags for food waste are available in the waste rooms and at the municipality's recycling stations.
