What is a Security Home?
It is for you who have turned 70 (65 years at Stenebo in Järvsö and Gullvivan in Ljusdal) and want more security and social interaction than you might get in your current home. No assistance decision is required to live here. You rent your home on your own initiative.
Differences between sheltered housing and nursing homes:
Unlike nursing homes, neither food, service, nursing or medical care is included. On the other hand, the homes are functionally designed, the accommodation has community rooms for meals, socializing, hobbies and recreation as well as a host.
